Facilities Program

GUE Facilities are dive operators that agree to support GUE divers. These facilities are ranked in relation to the services they provide, as well as according to their level of commitment to GUE training and procedures. GUE Facilities make it easy for divers to locate operations interested in supporting their diving goals. Moreover, this program helps to grow local GUE dive communities, increasing the ease of locating buddies while diving locally and abroad.

GUE Facility Levels

GUE Dive Centers: Dive Centers are not only dedicated GUE Facilities seeking to expand the GUE diving community but also motivated to support the broader goals of the organization. These facilities maintain at least one GUE instructor on staff and are organized to promote the research, exploration, and educational goals of GUE in their region while committing to providing access to all GUE standard gasses, appropriate GUE dive equipment, and year-round access to GUE-accredited dive training. These facilities must agree to organize a yearly aquatic project consonant with GUE's goals, including safety and conservation initiatives in the aquatic realm.

GUE Support Centers: Support Centers are thoroughly familiar with GUE and maintain at least one experienced GUE technical diver on staff; these facilities are dedicated to supporting the GUE community in their region by providing access to GUE standard gasses, appropriate GUE dive equipment, and regular access to GUE-accredited dive training. These facilities must agree to organize a yearly aquatic project consonant with GUE's goals, including safety and conservation initiatives in the aquatic realm.

GUE Affiliates: This status is available to organizations seeking to support GUE divers with resources, goods, or services; examples include diving clubs, dive charters, and/or dive shops. GUE Affiliates promote the GUE organization as well as the desirability of GUE dive instruction.
